Einzelhandelinvestitionen : Boom ohnegleichen

Abstract

An dem im März/April dieses Jahres durchgeführten Investitionstest für den Einzelhandel beteiligten sich rund 800 Unternehmen. Mit einem Plus von 1989 nominal 4,8% (1988: +3,8%) expandierten die Einzelhandelsumsätze nahezu im gleichen Maße wie die Konsumausgaben. Der Einzelhandel investierte 1989 14,6 Mrd. DM, das sind 5% mehr als 1988; preisbereinigt entspricht dies einem Zuwachs von 2,4%. Der Anteil der Investitionsausgaben am Umsatz blieb mit 2,8% auf dem hohen Niveau des Jahres 1988. Das Jahr 1989 ist mit einer Wachstumsrate der Investitionsausaben von nominal 5% das schwächste seit Beginn des gegenwärtigen Investitionszyklus im Jahre 1983. Der Anteil der Baumaßnahmen an den gesamten Einzelhandelsinvestitionen des Jahres 1989 war mit 38% gegenüber 1988 (40%) rückläufig. Die Ausgaben für Betriebs- und Geschäftsausstattungen einschließlich Maschinen und Anlagen wuchsen dagegen kräftig (+19%), ihr Anteil an den gesamten Einzelhandelsinvestitionen erreichte mit 43% (1988: 38%) ein Rekordniveau. Die Einzelhandelsinvestitionen werden 1990 beträchtlich expandieren.Finanzierungsschwierigkeiten stellen allerdings wesentlich häufiger ein Investitionshindernis dar.
