Transformation in der Automobilindustrie – welche Kompetenzen sind gefragt?

Abstract

Autonomes Fahren, neue Mobilitätsangebote und die Reduzierung von CO2-Emissionen erfordern einen tiefgreifenden Wandel der Automobilindustrie. Sowohl die Entwicklung neuer Jobs als auch die Entwicklung der Kompetenzen zeigt, dass diese Transformation bereits in vollem Gange ist. Besonders digitale Kompetenzen gewinnen an Bedeutung. Im globalen Vergleich ist Deutschland hier relativ gut aufgestellt. Allerdings zeigen sich Unterschiede zwischen den großen Automobilherstellern und den Zulieferern. Letztere haben bei den digitalen Kompetenzen ihrer Mitarbeiter*innen noch Nachholbedarf. Die benötigten neuen Kompetenzen holen sich die Unternehmen vor allem durch neue Beschäftigte. Darüber darf die Weiterbildung der bereits in der Branche Beschäftigten nicht vernachlässigt werden, damit auch diese die Kompetenzen für die neuen Anforderungen durch den Wandel erwerben können.
