ifo Konjunkturprognose für Ostdeutschland und Sachsen Sommer 2024: Ostdeutsche Wirtschaft wächst stärker als der Westen

Abstract

Im Jahr 2024 dürfte die Wirtschaft in Ostdeutschland weiter und in Sachsen wieder wachsen. Für das Jahr 2025 erwartet das ifo Institut eine Zunahme der Wirtschaftsleistung in Ostdeutschland um 1,7% und in Sachsen um 1,4%. Die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen dürfte in Ostdeutschland im laufenden Jahr um 0,2% steigen, in Sachsen hingegen auf dem gleichen Niveau wie im Vorjahr verharren.
