Strukturierte Kooperation könnte die Innovationsaktivität kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen in Sachsen nachhaltig verbessern

Abstract

Die sächsische Unternehmenslandschaft besteht zum überwiegenden Teil aus kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU), deren Kompetenzen und Ressourcen oft nicht ausreichen, um Innovationsprojekte allein erfolgreich anzustoßen bzw. umzusetzen. Ein vielversprechender Ansatz zur Erhöhung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der regionalen Wirtschaft sind strukturierte kooperative Innovationsprojekte, bei denen einzelne Innovationsfunktionen von verschiedenen Projektpartnern übernommen werden. Dies setzt jedoch ausreichend innovative Kooperationsfähigkeiten voraus, um z. B. geeignete Innovationspartner zu bestimmen, zu finden und zu integrieren. Soweit diese fehlen, könnte ein Lösungsansatz darin bestehen, vermehrt gezielte Maßnahmen zur Stärkung der Innovationskompetenz und Kooperationsfähigkeit anzustoßen.
