Gegenstand und finanzielle Bedeutung des Solidarpakts

Abstract

Der Solidarpakt und dessen Fortfuehrung ueber das Jahr 2004 hinaus sind gegenwaertig zentrale Themen in der politischen Diskussion. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es wichtig zu wissen, was der Solidarpakt ist, was mit ihm erreicht werden soll und wodurch er sich vom Laenderfinanzausgleich (LFA) und von anderen Foerdermassnahmen fuer die neuen Bundeslaender unterscheidet. Die Begriffsbestimmung und sein finanzielles Volumen sind Gegenstand des vorliegenden Artikels.
