Abstract

In this paper is given a method of assessing prospective aggregate demand for agrifood consumption in Romania using the empirical data that actual consumption presents as trend, for the period 1985-2005. It took into account as restrictions, two alternative model of growth, and only a variant of the food demand elasticity based on real income of families of employees. We are specifying that the CEEX "Integrated system development business" project, with ICI, IEM, IEA and CEIS as partners, was a more comprehensive approach to this issue.
