Accumulated foreign investments in Russian regions: the territorial structure and the role of offshore capital

Abstract

The author analyzes the Bank of Russia statistical data on the accumulated foreign direct investments in the Russian Federation on January 1, 2015.Special attention is paid to the structure of accumulated investments by countries and economic activities and the specifics of Moscow. The article considers the evaluating possibility of the role of offshore capital in the Russian regions and factors of regional differentiation on this indicator.
