Abstract

The Business Model (BM) is a relatively recent, however more and more present object of research in the literature, including International Entrepreneurship. However, the mobilization of the BM in academic articles is too often insignificant and without real empirical phase, while its study leads to recognize its potential for research on born globals. But it is necessary to appreciate the relevance of the BM in understanding the way these born globals function. The present research asks this preliminary previous question : is the BM relevant to study the born globals, in particular in their precocity and their speed to become international ? The answer is positive. The research also allows the formulation of nine proposals highlighting the regularities identified in the BM of the six selected case studies.
