La responsabilité sociale de l'entreprise : gouvernance partenariale de la firme ou gouvernance de réseau ?

Abstract

Using a contractual analysis of Corporate Social Responsibility which is prominent today, CSR is presented as an institutional dynamic in which each of the stakeholders plays a role in the governance of the firm. This article shows the inadequacy of a contractual approach which leaves major events unaccounted for. Once these events are integrated in the analysis, CSR emerge more as a form of governing network. More specifically, CSR seems to contribute to a transformation of socio-economic regulations in order to adapt to more and more structured economies which operate on networks on a global level.
