Division spatiale du travail et nouvelles organisations productives : des territoires « segments » aux territoires « modules »?

Abstract

The industrial policies prompted by the French Government reveal the shift from a vertical division of labour to a horizontal one in which some local territories have to operate as ?modules of competencies?. The requirements in terms of management of productive innovation on the one hand, of ?high efficiency? employment models on the other hand, are the main forces of this re-positionning, which brings both new constraints and new opportunities to the interested actors.
