Hypotekárna kríza v USA

Abstract

Od roku 2001 stavebníctvo tvorilo 90% rastu HDP USA a dve z piatich nových pracovných miest boli v stavebnom sektore, hypotekárnom trhu a real estate. Keď v auguste 2007 prepukla v USA hypotekárna kríza, spôsobila krízu likvidity, prepady na akciových trhoch, vysoké straty v bankovom sektore, zníženie hospodárskeho rastu USA a ďalšie negatívne dopady na celosvetové hospodárstvo. Hypotekárna kríza v USA sa tak stala hlavnou témou médií, medzinárodných fór, medzivládnych jednaní a odborných diskusií. Témou však nebola len samotná kríza, ale najmä jej príčiny a zodpovednosť za jej vznik. Spôsobili krízu americkí dlžníci, banky, ratingové agentúry, americká centrálna banka (FED) alebo zlyhal celý systém? V tejto práci sa preto zameriam tak na príčiny ako aj dôsledky tejto krízy na ekonomický vývoj tak USA, ako aj ďalších kľúčových hráčov svetového hospodárstva.
