Konkurencieschopnosť miesta - územie a predpoklady vytvárajúce jeho ekonomický potenciál

Abstract

Článok sa zameriava na definovanie základných faktorov vplývajúcich na konkurencieschopnosť regiónov a miest a načrtáva postavenie miestnej správy v procese jej zvyšovania. Autor sa v prvej časti textu venuje vymedzeniu pojmu konkurencieschopnosti vo vzťahu k miestu (lokalite) a vymedzeniu základných oblastí – skupín faktorov. Opiera sa pritom o rozsiahly súbor prác publikovaný v žurnáloch a monografiách, predovšetkým anglosaského a nemeckého pôvodu. V ďalšej časti analyzuje faktory podľa jednotlivých skupín a popisuje úlohy a možnosti verejnej správy pri ich rozvoji. Za hlavné skupiny faktorov pritom označuje hospodársku štruktúru, podnikateľské, investičné a životné prostredie a vedomostnú základňu lokality.
