Medzinárodná identita Ruskej federácie a jej postavenie v systéme medzinárodných vzťahov

Abstract

Po skončení studenej vojny sa na mape Euroázie objavilo množstvo nových štátov, ktoré museli nanovo hľadať svoje miesto v systéme medzinárodných vzťahov. Medzi ne patrila aj Ruská federácia, ako nástupnícky štát Sovietskeho zväzu. Tým sa Rusko ocitlo v situácií, kedy muselo nanovo definovať svoje národné záujmy a svoju politickú orientáciu. Tento proces prebiehal v zložitých podmienkach prechodného obdobia štátu, kedy sa začali formovať nové pohľady na zahraničnú politiku krajiny, ktoré ostro kontrastovali s tými starými. Tieto názory našli svoje uplatnenie v reálnej politike v rôznej miere, v závislosti od zmien na najvyšších politických postoch.
