Medzinárodná migrácia v Európe v jej historickom kontexte

Abstract

Štúdia sústreďuje pozornosť na problematiku medzinárodnej migrácie obyvateľstva na teritóriu Európy v jej historickom vývoji. Predovšetkým upozorňuje na požívanie pojmov a kategórii, ktoré sa v súvislosti s týmto fenoménom používajú v odbornej literatúre, ale aj v politickej praxi. Zároveň sleduje historicky vývoj migračných tokov, predovšetkým emigračných ale aj postupnú premenu najmä západnej Európy na atraktívnu imigračnú oblasť, v časovom a teritoriálnom horizonte počínajúc 5. storočím až do súčasnosti.
