Effectiveness Of The European Union Development Cooperation

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the topic of the effectiveness of development cooperation and its specific evaluation within the framework of development cooperation of the European Union. The aim of this paper is to present a system for evaluating the effectiveness of development cooperation and its specific form on selected project. The European Union has detailed development cooperation evaluation system, including evaluation methodology. Within DG DEVCO there is a so-called Evaluation Unit that covers this system. Evaluation of the effectiveness of development cooperation is an important part of the evaluation process and a cross-cutting issue within the evaluation criteria.
