Ukazovatele Životnej Úrovne V Subsaharskej Afrike

Abstract

Cieľom tohto príspevku je predstaviť alternatívne ukazovatele životnej úrovne a ekonomického a sociálneho rozvoja a na príklade afrických štátov porovnať výsledky jednotlivých krajín na základe tradičného ukazovateľa rozvoja (Index ľudského rozvoja) a alternatívneho prístupu (Index sociálneho pokroku). Ukazovatele rozvoja sa v priebehu dekád menili smerom k väčšiemu dôrazu na udržateľnosť rozvoja a neekonomické aspekty životnej úrovne. Z porovnania dvoch indexov na vzorke 32 krajín subsaharskej Afriky je zrejmé, že ekonomická úroveň neznamená všade aj vyššiu životnú úroveň a tieto dva aspekty sa môžu vyvíjať veľmi rôzne (Angola, Senegal), ale aj rovnakou mierou (Maurícius, Namíbia, Keňa). Napriek rôznym úrovniam v jednotlivých krajinách, väčšina subsaharskej Afriky stále v oboch ukazovateľoch výrazne zaostáva za zvyškom sveta.
