Abstract

Influence of pedestrian accessibility to green areas in Kyiv on the value of residential real estate in the city’s new buildings in economy class housing classes, «comfort», «business» and «elites» was investigated. The role of green spaces in the social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of sustainable development is shown. The role of green zones in urban planning systems as a means of long-term environmental sustainability by improving the quality of life and air quality, improving the aesthetic characteristics of the territory and, eventually, increasing the cost of residential real estate has been uncovered.
