Abstract

The prerequisites for the development of green tourism in rural areas of the Vinnytsia region were investigated and analyzed. The author identifies the territories of Vinnytsia region, where there is the most developed rural green tourism: Yampil, Barskiy, Mohyliv-Podilskiy, Murovano- Kurilovetskiy, Zhmerinskiy, Pischanskiy districts. In these areas, green tourism contributes to the accelerated development of rural areas as a real way of social development of depressed rural areas, increasing the welfare of the rural population, diversifying agricultural production, and enabling the degradation of rural areas and the outflow of labor resources. Common and distinctive features of the tourist product «rural green tourism», «agrotou- rism» and «ecotourism» were uncovered.
