Analysis and definition of an indicator of water stress in Ukraine in the conditions of globalization

Abstract

The article deals with the concept of «water stress». The analysis of the components on the basis of which water stress is determined, such as: the number of renewable sources of fresh water, total freshwater collection and environmental requirements for flow, etc. The calculation of the indicator of water stress in the country is carried out, which is caused by a number of tasks of the Sustainable Development Goals. On the basis of the obtained data, the indicators of water availability of the country are analyzed
