Abstract

The article analyzes the spatial characteristics of forestry development, which is conditioned by the necessity of combining the production of forest products (in particular, structures connected with wood harvesting) with reproduction as a type of economic activity and as a natural and anthropogenic process (part of the natural space of formation of forest potential). In general, such an analysis allows determining the patterns of forest management in a regional dimension and, on this basis, builds optimization models of the territorial organization and strategic priorities of forestry development.
