Abstract

The author gives data on the regularities of self-restoration of forest massifs on flood-plains, old-arable lands and non-woodlands of Zhytomyr Polissya. It was ascertained that the most active flooding occurs pine common in open areas next to the old forest or «wall» of the forest protection zone. The analyzed protected lists of flora species indicated a significant ecosocial significance of forest ecosystems. The ecological-floristic classification by the Brown-Blanc method is unified. The author proposed measures of forest radioecological safety
