Analysis of introduction of forest certification procedures on Ukrainian territory

Abstract

Forest certification now addresses a much wider range of forestry development issues in the world. It is not just about preventing illegal logging, but also about harmonizing the ecological, economic and social aspects of forest management, which is an integral part of the organization of forestry. This is an objective necessity for Ukraine. Therefore, certification should be a mandatory instrument of state regulation of this sphere for improving forest management, economic development of forestry, strengthening of forest enterprises in the domestic markets of products and penetration into external.
