Abstract

This paper deals with issues of the use of medicinal plants in the field of animal husbandry with the prophylactic and therapeutic purposes. The author shows positive effects of medicinal plants to increase immunity and animal health, treatment and prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases, milk quality and productivity of dairy cows, improve the palatability of the meat of broiler chickens, productivity and save piglets.
