Abstract

This paper deals with results of researches of soil fertility and nutrient balance in soils of agricultural lands of the Polissya and Forest Steppe zones. It was found that to improve soil fertility it is necessary to increase the volume of mineral and organic fertilizers application, expand the area of perennial and green manure sowings, implement plowing of plant residues, as well as introduce ecological and economically reasonable soil conservation crop rotations..
