Balance of heavy metals in the body of fattening steers with different types of diets

Abstract

This paper deals with the balance findings of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in the organism of feeding calves with different types of diets. It has been determined that in some feeds that are used for fattening of calves during the experiment, the contents of heavy metals exceeded MPC. The author gives a negative balance of lead in young animals of the experimental group, who fattened on silage-root-concentrate ration, and copper balance was positive, while the relative absorption of copper was higher in the experimental group young animals
