Abstract

At present the factors of socio-economic crisis and agroecological problems in rural areas are not investigated enough. The possible causes of the unsatisfactory agroecological condition of rural areas are considered. It is found that indicators of soil quality, agricultural products and drinking water with the intensification of anthropogenic impact on rural areas have been deteriorated. Attention is focused on the social and economic indicators of the development of rural areas: the number of population, the number of empty houses, the distance from the district center, the total area of agricultural lands, the number of cultural and educational institutions, the number of retirees, the number of educational institutions, the number of pupils, the number of infrastructure institutions. Besides of the socio-economic indicators, the causes of unsatisfactory agroecological condition of rural areas are the absence of state control, legal and regulatory framework and recommendations for the agricultural production in the personal subsidiary plots. In contrast to the personal subsidiary plots of peasants in the lands of agricultural designation an environmental monitoring is carried out. Statistical characteristics of the typical rural settlement of the district are shown. It is planned to determine causal relationships between socio-economic and agroecological condition of rural areas. The expediency to involve normative legal factors to the research is proved.
