The impact of biologics on the formation of quality seedlings of tomato plants (Solanum Lycopersicum L.)

Abstract

The seedlings quality is determined by the development of sowing material and plants in the early stages of ontogenesis, and is the key to obtain high stable yields of tomatoes in greenhouses. In the context of the growing experience, a positive effect of presowing processing tomato seeds by biological preparations when growing the seedlings has been found. Complex 1, a mixture of biologics Fosfoenterin and Biopolitsid promote the growth of tomato plants to a height by 13%, the number of leaves on the plant — on average — by 7%, and the mass of the aerial part of the plant — by 3%. In addition, the use of Complex 1 improves the development of the photosynthetic apparatus of plants in comparison with other investigated biological preparations. Thus, the net photosynthetic productivity (NPP) increased by 10% compared with the control option, the contents of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b increased by 1.3 and 1.2 times, respectively.
