Conceptual aspects of categories of «conservation areas» and «Nature Reserve Fund

Abstract

This paper deals with theoretical approaches to the formation of categories of «conservation areas» and «Nature Reserve Fund». It is proved that the interpretation of the natural reserve fund by scientists are similar and do not contradict each other. The author suggests own approach to the definition of «Nature Reserve Fund». The structure, status, importance and mode of use of territories and objects of natural reserve fund have been analyzed. The author has discovered weaknesses of the Law of Ukraine «On Nature Reserve Fund of Ukraine», which leads to problems and hinders the development of reserve management
