Tác động của tăng trưởng kinh tế lên tiêu thụ năng lượng tái tạo tại Việt Nam

Abstract

Trong giai đoạn 1990 - 2021, Việt Nam có tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế nhanh và đi kèm với mức độ tiêu thụ năng lượng lớn. Tuy nhiên, tỷ lệ tiêu thụ năng lượng tái tạo của Việt Nam đang có sự suy giảm, điều này có thể ảnh hưởng tới mục tiêu phát thải ròng bằng không của quốc gia vào năm 2050. Vì vậy, nghiên cứu này được tiến hành nhằm phân tích tác động của tăng trưởng kinh tế lên tiêu thụ năng lượng tái tạo ở Việt Nam giai đoạn 1990 - 2021. Phương pháp Autoregressive Distributed Lags được sử dụng để phân tích mối quan hệ trong ngắn hạn và dài hạn. Kết quả cho thấy có tác động của tăng trưởng kinh tế lên năng lượng tái tạo. Cụ thể, trong cả dài hạn và ngắn hạn, ngành nông nghiệp tác động tiêu cực lên mức tiêu thụ năng lượng tái tạo. Ngược lại, ngành dịch vụ có tác động tích cực. Ngành công nghiệp có tác động tiêu cực đến tiêu thụ năng lượng trong dài hạn, tuy nhiên có chuyển biến tích cực trong ngắn hạn. Tăng trưởng dân số làm tăng nhu cầu năng lượng tái tạo trong dài hạn nhưng giảm trong ngắn hạn. Cần có các chính sách hỗ trợ từ Chính Phủ để thúc đẩy sử dụng năng lượng tái tạo tại Việt Nam.
