La situation financière des PME et des ETI en 2024 : face à des perspectives incertaines, des fondamentaux plutôt robustes

Abstract

Cette étude mobilise 1,6 million de liasses fiscales 2024 pour éclairer la situation financière des petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) et des entreprises de taille intermédiaire (ETI) françaises. Fin 2024, les PME et les ETI présentaient des signes forts de résilience, avec notamment des taux de marge qui ont continué de résister, des taux d’endettement en baisse, et une trésorerie toujours solide. L’année 2024 a toutefois été marquée par un ralentissement de l’activité et des coûts de financement toujours en hausse. Par ailleurs, la capacité de remboursement des PME et ETI françaises, telle que mesurée par la cotation Banque de France, s’est légèrement dégradée en 2024. Dans le contexte plus incertain de 2025, certaines entreprises particulièrement fragiles pourraient connaître des difficultés accrues.
