Abstract

La mesure de l’inflation a fait l’objet de nombreux débats récents mais les biais susceptibles d’affecter l’indice des prix à la consommation harmonisé (IPCH), tant à la hausse qu’à la baisse, sont limités en France et dans la zone euro. L’IPCH est donc bien un indicateur pertinent permettant de guider les décisions de politique monétaire.
