La Evolución de las Exportaciones Colombianas y sus Determinantes. Un Análisis Empírico

Abstract

El presente estudio muestra cuán errónea es la creencia según la cual el año 1967 (Decreto-Ley 444) marcó el comienzo de una "nueva" época en materia de exportaciones en Colombia. En términos de quantum, y a diferencia de lo que sucedió en los demás paises de la periferia, el dinamismo de nuestras exportaciones diferentes a café y petróleo fue sustancialmente menor para los años posteriores a 1967, que para el periodo 1960-67. Tras un crecimiento sorprendente entre los años 1967 y 1974, estas disminuyen marcadamente entre 1974 y 1975 debido a la recesion internacional, y luego permanecen a un nivel aproximadamente constante en los años posteriores.
