La evolución de la solvencia y de la demografía empresarial en España desde el inicio de la pandemia

Abstract

La crisis del COVID-19 ha tenido un gran impacto en la evolución de la economía y ha afectado a la situación económica y financiera de las empresas españolas, aunque con una elevada heterogeneidad sectorial. Este artículo indaga sobre cómo ha afectado esta crisis a la solvencia y a la demografía empresarial en España a través de distintos indicadores. El análisis realizado evidencia que, hasta ahora, los efectos han sido muy moderados en comparación con crisis anteriores, lo que se explica en gran parte por las medidas desplegadas por las autoridades económicas para mitigar los efectos de esta perturbación. No obstante, existen ciertos riesgos latentes que podrían materializarse, especialmente, si la recuperación económica acabara siendo menos vigorosa de lo que se anticipa.
