Situación macrofinanciera de Turquía

Abstract

La evolución de la economía turca en 2021 sigue estando muy influida por el desarrollo de la pandemia de COVID-19. A pesar de haber mantenido, desde el inicio de la pandemia, un dinamismo mayor que el de otras economías emergentes, Turquía se enfrenta a una serie de retos macrofinancieros derivados de desequilibrios preexistentes agudizados con la crisis. Entre ellos, destacan una alta y persistente inflación, unas cuantiosas necesidades de financiación exterior, en un contexto de elevado endeudamiento en moneda extranjera de las empresas no financieras, unas reservas internacionales de divisas reducidas, y una creciente dolarización de los depósitos bancarios. La posición del sector bancario sigue siendo relativamente sólida y la ratio de préstamos de dudoso cobro ha disminuido, si bien algunos de sus indicadores han empeorado ligeramente, como la rentabilidad o las ratios de solvencia.
