Abstract
In the digital age, students must develop strong Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills and digital literacy to thrive academically and professionally. This study examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) tools on enhancing these competencies, employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) frameworks. Through a mixed-methods approach, data from 129 students reveal that perceived usefulness significantly influences both digital literacy and ICT skills, while perceived ease of use and task-technology fit play secondary roles. Qualitative findings highlight AI's benefits, such as instant feedback and personalized learning, alongside challenges like technical issues and training gaps. The study underscores the importance of structured AI training programs in education. These insights contribute to the literature on AI adoption in education and inform institutional policies for effective AI integration. Future research should explore longitudinal effects and diverse educational contexts.
