Abstract

This study examines how the removal of fuel subsidies and insufficient compensation affects the performance of academic staff in higher education institutions located in the Oyo metropolis. A descriptive survey research design was utilized to collect data from 295 academic staff, selected via stratified random sampling from three tertiary institutions. The study employed Pearson Product Moment Correlation in conjunction with multiple regression analysis to thoroughly analyze the data.
