Abstract

Reported low transition among secondary a schoolstudents has drawn interest and attention among researchers. This is because transition determines how learners succeed from one academic level to the next and how they achieve life time goals. Research was guided by Self Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan 2002). The participants were 405 students (167 males, 238 females). The participants filled questionnaire items adapted from Multidimensional Psychological Needs Satisfaction Scale.
