What Happens When You Introduce Storytelling Pedagogy to Fifth Grade Literacy Classrooms in Zambia?

Abstract

This study investigated the efficacy of storytelling pedagogy to fifth-grade literacy class in Nyimba district of Zambia. The study used a pretest and posttest quasi-experimental design over 12-weeks intervention with 140 study participants of 10 -15 years of age. Data collected through assessments were analyzed using STATA which revealed statistically significant results (p<0.05) from MANOVA, indicating the overall effect of storytelling pedagogy.
