Abstract
Background of the Study Educational institutions faced with many challenges that require innovative approaches in the dynamic and ever-changing field of educational management. Effective leadership is important, emphasizing on transformational leadership that will help educators and administrators to guide through complexities. Ultimately, this approach to leadership helps solve daily operational obstacles while guaranteeing teacher’s motivation and commitment towards academic objectives. Research shows that capable leaders are responsible for the majority of success in schools. Moreover, in the realm of educational management today, institutions poses a multifaceted challenge, particularly due to their operation within an environment characterized by continual change and uncertainty (Teece, 2017). This educational landscape necessitates innovative approaches to managing human capital, emphasizing the imparting of skills to address the complexities of daily challenges encountered by educators and staff (Cheung and Wong, 2011). Scholars in educational leadership, such as Bass and Bass (2008) and Thorpe et al. (2011), argue that transformative leadership is indispensable in the contemporary academic milieu. Leaders must possess a deep understanding of the intricacies of the educational environment and be attuned to the needs of faculty and staff, ensuring their motivation towards achieving educational goals. Research underscores the paramount importance of adept leadership; for instance, Saleh et al. (2018) posit that effective leadership within educational management plays a crucial role in achieving high performance. The significant role of transformative leadership lies in orchestrating human capital, fostering motivation, and productivity within the educational setting. Organizations play an important role in our daily lives. They are considered to be the engine that drives a nation’s economic, social, and political progress (El-Masri et al., 2015). Given that organizations face constant change in the environment surrounding them, managers and organizations have been urged to become more sensitive regarding employee and firm performance (Shahin et al., 2014; Masa’deh et al., 2015). Therefore, organizational performance has become a topic of interest for all organizations, profit or non-profit, and managers are interested in figuring out which factors influence organizational performance in order to take appropriate steps to initiate them (Shannak et al., 2012; Alenezi et al., 2015).
