Abstract

Faced with increasingly sophisticated computer crime and the increased digitization of banking products, the bank must make risk management a strategic priority. This situation is likely to worsen further in the event of outsourcing, which despite its advantages; it presents risks for the bank as well as for its customers. Consequently, the risks faced by banks can have serious consequences in terms of operational performance but also in terms of professional reputation. This is why the bank must reconcile the search for performance with risk management. To fully understand the outsourcing phenomenon within banks, this research essentially aims to provide conceptual and theoretical insight by adopting a mixed approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods and at the end proposing recommendations with new avenues of research.
