Abstract

The main objective of the study was to evaluate the relationship between women property inheritance and peaceful coexistence among families in Nyamira North Sub-County. A descriptive research design was used for this study. The study’s target population was 40,446 households in Nyamira North Sub-County. A sample size of 396 respondents was used. To select the respondents, this study employed simple random sampling for households and purposive sampling to select key informants. Questionnaires were distributed to households while Interviews were conducted with chiefs and village elders. The results showed a significant positive relationship (Pearson’s r = 0.929, p =0.000
