From Green Practices to Strategic HR: A Bibliometric of Green Human Resource Management

This study aims to compile the current state of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) from 2010 to 2025. Although GHRM is recognized for its potential in advancing sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), there is insufficient research offering structured, data-driven insights that can inform policymakers and business leaders on its practical implementation and evolution. This comprehensive bibliometric analysis of GHRM literature spanning from 2010 to 2025 collectively provides fresh theoretical and practical insights for researchers, businesses, and policymakers. This paper analyzed 352 documents from Scopus using the bibliometric R Studio program to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of GHRM. This article also identifies the most influential and productive document in this area. The results demonstrated that there had been a significant increase in GHRM publications, with journaled articles making up most of the document types that were examined in GHRM. This study will benefit policymakers, businesses, and academics by clarifying the theoretical and practical facets of GHRM and identifying important problems that need to be addressed in the future. Since this study was only based on Scopus, it would be significantly beneficial if other researchers could perform a bibliometric analysis of GHRM using data from various databases such as Dimensions, Web of Science (WoS), and others.
