Abstract
This study examined the effect of spiritual well-being on eudaimonic well-being among members of the Catholic Women Association (CWA) in Athi River Deanery, Catholic Diocese of Machakos, Kenya. The study was anchored in the Spiritual Well-Being Model and Waterman’s Theory of Eudaimonic Well-Being, which provided a complementary framework for explaining how spiritual resources influence psychological flourishing and human self-realisation. A quantitative cross-sectional survey design was adopted. Data were collected from 360 participants selected through proportionate stratified and simple random sampling techniques. The study utilised a structured questionnaire comprising the Spiritual Well-Being Scale and the Questionnaire for Eudaimonic Well-Being. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25 through descriptive statistics, Pearson’s product–moment correlation, and simple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that the majority of participants reported high levels of spiritual well-being (66.7%), while 33.3% demonstrated moderate levels. Similarly, 66.7% of respondents exhibited high levels of eudaimonic well-being, whereas 33.3% fell within the moderate category. Pearson’s correlation analysis indicated a moderately strong, positive, and statistically significant association between spiritual well-being and eudaimonic well-being (r = .591, p
