Abstract

As people have become acclimatised to spending huge amounts of time speaking with one another in the digital space, there has been a huge transition from physical trade shows to virtual events. This paper considers the advantages and disadvantages of both options, and finds that while in-person events continue to offer huge value in terms of networking and developing product knowledge, in a world where people meet and work online, there is a place for virtual trade shows as well.
