Abstract

Since the 1990s, scholars have increasingly paid attention to the translation of Ouyang Xiu's works. Using CiteSpace for visual bibliometric analysis, this study examines literature on the translation of Ouyang Xiu's works collected from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). A visual mapping is generated by analyzing publication trends, time distribution, authors, institutions, keywords, and related information. The findings indicate that domestic research on Ouyang Xiu's translations has been growing, yet it remains fragmented, forming research hotspots such as translation strategies, dissemination, and reception of translations. However, existing studies also exhibit certain limitations, particularly a lack of diversified research perspectives. This study aims to clarify the current status, key research areas, and frontiers in this field, providing a reference for future research, promoting further development, and facilitating the international dissemination of Ouyang Xiu's works in cultural exchanges.
