Abstract

This article tries to identify and examine the Critical Success Factors in the way to establish Knowledge Management in organizations. Therefore, firstly, the related literature was reviewed along with various reports on Knowledge Management in organizations in addition to Delphi technique in order to identify and define the Critical Success Factors. Accordingly, five basic Critical Success Factors as well as the sub-factors concerned were adjusted and reaffirmed through questionnaires and interviews with the scholars, administrators and experts of Knowledge Management. As the volume of the statistical population was limited, 210 samples were selected through simple random sampling method based on Morgan Table. The filled-out questionnaires were later tested through structural equations modeling technique to analyze the structural relations of the model. The findings indicate that all the indicators of the model fitting were acceptable in the range. The results showed that organizational structure and organizational culture had the most amount of effectiveness and co-integration regarding readiness and success in applying Knowledge Management.
