Abstract

As diversas crises que ocorrem ao longo dos anos no mundo deixam marcas e efeitos negativos na sociedade. Em 2020, não foi diferente com o surgimento da COVID-19, que se alastrou no mundo. O estudo teve o objetivo de verificar quais os efeitos da crise da COVID-19 nas famílias da região Oeste do Paraná (Brasil) nos aspectos econômico, social, saúde, relacionamento familiar, educação e tecnologia. Como delineamento metodológico, a pesquisa classifica-se como quantitativa, com utilização de questionário survey para levantamento dos dados, aplicado on-line pelo google forms e a análise dos dados foi descritiva. Como resultados destaca-se que as crises geram sequelas, sejam financeiras, emocionais ou sociais. Conclui-se que a pandemia gerada pela COVID-19 teve efeitos negativos em todos os indicadores analisados, e que a tecnologia foi a chave para que as pessoas pudessem continuar a trabalhar, a estudar, mesmo em isolamento social.
