Retornos Privados da Escolaridade no Paraná

Abstract

Objetivo do presente estudo é o de estimar os retornos da escolaridade dos trabalhadores nos setores privados da economia paranaense através do método de Heckman. Ou seja, neste, realizamos uma análise do impacto da escolaridade no retorno salarial no estado paranaense e uma avaliação de qual nível de ensino (fundamental, médio ou superior) é mais importante na geração de renda e, portanto, na produtividade do trabalho. Adicionalmente, procuramos identificar outros fatores que determinam a renda dos indivíduos no Paraná, além de se fazer uma análise comparativa dos resultados do presente estudo com os resultados de análises realizadas por outros autores para o Brasil e Paraná.
