Small and Non-Traditional Food Retailers Largely Cost Competitive in the WIC Program

Abstract

A recent analysis of transaction data from two WIC State agencies found modest monthly cost differences between supercenters and most other store types for two of the three sets of WIC-approved foods analyzed.
