Zmiany Klimatu W Ocenie Rolników

Abstract

Jednym z głównych czynników wpływających na antropogeniczną zmianę klimatu jest rolnictwo, choć paradoksalnie sektor ten jest także bardzo narażony na skutki zmian klimatu, szczególne na ekstremalne zjawiska pogodowe. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej ankiety (125 odpowiedzi) oceniono, w jaki sposób rolnicy w powiecie łęczyńskim postrzegają zmiany klimatyczne i ich potencjalne skutki w swoich gospodarstwach. Z badań wynika, że 39% rolników uważa działalność człowieka i naturalne zmiany w środowisku za równoważne przyczyny zmian klimatu, 37% respondentów stwierdziło, że zmiany te są tylko wynikiem działalności człowieka, a 24% – naturalnych procesów zachodzących w środowisku. Zdecydowana większość rolników obawia się, że następstwem zachodzących zmian będzie wzrost kosztów prowadzenia produkcji rolniczej (69%) i obniżenie poziomu życia (61%). Przeprowadzone badanie wskazało również na dużą świadomość rolników dotyczącą dbania o środowisko i glebę – 73% rolników stwierdziło, że regulacje dotyczące ochrony środowiska są dobre dla przyszłości rolnictwa, ale zwiększają nakłady pracy rolnika i obniżają dochód z gospodarstwa rolnego.
